Opportunities import format

Status: manual import only. No live connection to an opportunities product exists today. Signed-in customers paste a JSON record on the Import page and must explicitly authorize sharing before it is accepted. Each authorization is recorded.

Fields

titlestring, required: Opportunity title, up to 200 characters.
issuerstring: Issuing agency or buyer.
solicitationNumberstring: Reference number from the issuer.
deadlineISO 8601 with offset: Response deadline, e.g. 2026-11-20T14:00:00-08:00.
timezoneIANA zone: Used to display the deadline, e.g. America/Chicago. Defaults to UTC.
sourceUrlURL: Where the opportunity was published.
descriptionstring: Full solicitation text, up to 200,000 characters. Treated as untrusted content.

Validation

Unknown fields are ignored. Invalid fields are rejected with the field name and reason. Imported text never overrides customer approvals and is never treated as instructions.
